Bethany Village is an orphanage village that has the whole package. The needs of the children are all met on site, where they’ve built a school, medical clinic, farm, church and all the housing and facilities they need. Each 3 -4 bedroom home of 12-15 kids has a house mother who is responsible to raise the children, ranging in age from 2 to 18 years old. Children in the orphanage are provided clothing, housing, food, medicine and a full education. Over the course of their development they are taught important, marketable skills such as sewing, cooking, gardening and farming, and they contribute to life in their home and village, so that when they are adults they have marketable skills to provide for themselves. Each house family is also matched with a couple who provides mentorship, support and guidance to the children. Through your monthly support, these children are given opportunities that most kids in Uganda will never have. From without hope, to without limits, the children of Bethany Village have a future.
Africa Renewal Ministries is committed to developing leaders so they can go out and bring hope to their communities. Through pastoral training and university programs, they bolster leaders to serve their communities. They engage with young adults, pastors and others to prepare them to lead by modeling Christ-like character in their areas of influence. Through this training at Africa Renewal, Rural pastors church leaders receive access to sound theological training and leadership skills development bringing lasting biblical life change in their communities. With 10 locations across Uganda and 4 instructors, we have already granted certificates to over 900 students. Through sponsorship of any amount, Pastors in Uganda may receive support to carry them through the costs of their ministry as well as the needs of their own family. This support enables them to grow their ministry, seek out shelter to use as their church meeting place, and support those in their congregation with urgent and critical needs and disciple those in their congregation to spread the gospel, among many other things.
